Sports Festivals for Officials and Students are the annual sports activities organized by Danang University to arouse the sports training spirit, form a healthy and useful playing ground for the school officials, professors and students, contribute to promote the physical education activities, and create bonding among the member units under Danang University. As of 2016, there have been 13 Festivals, including 9 Sports Festivals for students and 4 for the school officials.

This Sports Festival attracted the participation of 600 athletes representing over 2,300 officials from 6 member universities and 3 units under Danang University, including: Pedagogic University, University of Economics, University of Technology, Foreign Language University, College of Technology, College of Information Technology, Medicine - Pharmacy Department, Danang University affiliate in Kon Tum and Danang University Institution. The athletes joined in 6 contents: men's football, men's volleyball, women's volleyball; badminton; tennis and table tennis. With high competing spirit and determination of the athletes, Danang University Official Sports Festival in 2016 is expected witness attractive and quality competitions.

In the community supporting spirit, over the past years, THACO has been the sponsor accompanying many meaningful programs and activities of Danang University including scientific and graduation projects support, scholarships to hundreds of students; sponsorship to the social, sports activities, etc. This is the 12th time that THACO accompanies Danang University Sports Festivals for Officials and Students under the role of the main sponsor with the sponsorship of 100 million dong.
