The Student Sports Festival of Da Nang University is an annual program since 1999 to arouse the sporting spirit, establish a healthy and resourceful playground for employees, teachers, and students, promote physical training activities, and support the teaching and learning of the school, at the same time strengthening the bond between units under Da Nang University.

The 10th Student Sports Festival of Da Nang University has attracted the participation of nearly 1,000 athletes who represent for over 65,000 students from 6 member schools and 2 subordinate units of Da Nang University, including: University of Pedagogy, University of Economics, University of Technology, Foreign Language University, College of Technology, College of Information Technology, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy and University of Da Nang Branch in Kon Tum. The competition will take place in 11 sports: aerobics, men's Futsal football, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, table tennis, badminton; athletics, and chess. With previous established results and high sporting spirit and high determination of the athletes, the 10th Student Sports Festival of Da Nang University promisingly offers many interesting games.

With the social responsibility, especially in education, for many years, THACO has been the sponsor of many activities of Da Nang University including support for scientific projects, graduation projects, scholarships for hundreds of students; sponsorship for main sports events, etc. This is the 13th time that THACO accompanies with the Student Sports Festival of Da Nang University as the main sponsor with the amount of 100 million VND.
