THACO sales hit over 10,000 vehicles in July

THACO's passenger car sales mark its distinctive growth with 6,163 vehicles per month
July has witnessed the outstanding boom of the passenger cars when the sales reached 6,163 vehicles for the first time, 87 percent higher than 2015. Correspondingly, KIA still maintains its lead with 3,123 cars sold, increasing 101 percent over last year. KIA Morning model continues to prove its attraction with 1,667 cars, up 182 percent; followed by 532 KIA K3 cars, a 73-percent increase; 384 KIA Rio car purchase contracts signed, growing 27 percent over 2015.
Mazda also earns customers' satisfaction and trust with 3,005 vehicles in July, 75 percent higher than last year with the best-selling cars being Mazda CX-5 (516 cars, up 51 percent); Mazda2 (503 cars, up 67 percent); especially, Mazda3 model sets the record with 1,502 vehicles, up 192 percent compared to 2015. The soaring sales and growth have helped the Japanese car brand continue to stay in the leading position in VAMA rankings. In addition to KIA and Mazda, Peugeot is also making progress with 35 cars sold, 9 percent higher than last year.

Commercial vehicles sales increase by 14 percent over the same period of 2015
In July, there were 4,007 commercial vehicles sold (306 buses and 3,701 trucks), up 14 percent compared to 2015. Along with the investment and cooperation with the overseas partners to manufacture new products in different segments to meet consumers' demands, THACO commercial vehicles gradually affirm their position in the auto market in general and the commercial vehicle segment in particular.
All in all, with the cumulative sales in 2016's first 7 months reaching 63,297 vehicles, THACO is approaching closer to the target of 120,000 vehicles in 2016.
