The award organization committee received 274 applications. In the preliminary round, there were 200 outstanding enterprises and brands chosen by the preliminary round council that was chaired by Mr. Tran Ba Duong, THACO’s Chairman. The appraisal committee spent nearly one month to conduct the inspection at 274 enterprises to select Top 200, Top 10, and Top 10 of social responsibilities.

THACO has been listed in Top 10 for 5 consecutive years after 8 years of participation. Mr. Nguyen Hung Minh, THACO’s President, joined the ceremony and received the award. At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc recognized and honored the contribution of entrepreneurs and businessmen in the development of the country. The Deputy Prime Minister formally cited outstanding businessmen including Mr. Tran Ba Duong, Mr. Vu Van Tien, Mr. Truong Gia Binh etc.

Earlier, in the afternoon of 3 October, the Conference “Motivation to Develop Private Sector” was held at the National Convention Center, Hanoi. The conference was chaired by the Presidium of the Central Committee of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association and Mr. Tran Ba Duong, THACO’s Chairman and Chairman of Vietnam Gold Star Club.
