THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong attended the bridge inauguration and handover ceremony on 30 November.

On November 30, Can Giuoc District People's Committee held the inauguration ceremony of 10 rural bridges in the locality. Former President Truong Tan Sang, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh attended the event. The total construction cost of these bridges is more than VND10 billion, resulting from former President Truong Tan Sang’s sponsorship appeal, in which THACO has supported VND5 billion.

On behalf of the sponsors, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong attended the bridge inauguration and handover ceremony.

THACO is one of the leading Vietnamese companies in supporting under-developed localities. Previously, THACO has funded 19 bridges for the border districts of the same province. The sponsorship played a significant role in the development of the local economy.

Speaking at the ceremony, former President Truong Tan Sang expressed his gratitude towards the businesses for funding the bridge construction, and proposed that local authorities continue to encourage local people to clear the roads so that the bridges will be effective in transporting and transporting goods, making way for the local economic development in the future.
