On July 24 in Hanoi, the closing ceremony and award presentation for the Van Nghe Newspaper Short Story Contest 2022-2024 took place. THACO was a sponsor of the program.

After 2 years of operation (from September 2022 - September 2024), the contest attracted nearly 2,700 entries from authors nationwide. Among them, 253 outstanding short stories were selected for publication in Van Nghe Newspaper, the official publication of the Vietnam Writers' Association.

Speaking at the ceremony, writer Nguyen Binh Phuong, Head of the Judging Panel, said: “Many short stories have deeply portrayed life's reality, helping readers feel more clearly about human destiny in modern society. Many authors also showed a spirit of innovation, boldly experimenting with new writing styles and approaches, contributing to creating a vibrant face for contemporary literature.”

At the ceremony, 10 prizes, including 2 Second prizes, 2 Third prizes, and 6 Encouragement prizes, were awarded. Mr. Le Hoang Lan, THACO Communications Manager, Hanoi Office, presented Encouragement prizes to authors.
