THACO organizes the 10th humanitarian blood donation
In the morning of 29 June, the Head Office and the Retailers / Branches in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the "Blood Donation Day" in 2017. During the day, 170 staffs participated in the event. 161 units of blood were donated. Every year, THACO staffs donate more than 1,000 units of blood, equivalent to 9,000 units of blood in the last 9 years, with individuals donating blood more than 10 times. In the 10th year, THACO continues to set the goal of donating over 1,000 blood units throughout the system, which lasts from June to September. THACO has honorably received many Certificates of Merit from the authorities and local Red Cross.
Donating blood is a noble deed expressing the spirit of mutual affection in the social community. With the spirit of "A drop of blood, A loving heart" and the desire to contribute to save the unfortunate lives, since its establishment (1997), besides manufacturing and business, THACO management is committed to the community-based shared responsibility programs, including humanitarian blood donation. These activities always receive the response of THACO leaders as well as employees.
The Board of Directors and all THACO staff will continue to maintain this meaningful activity, contributing to the country's reserved blood supply, giving hope to the unlucky individuals, at the same time spreading the humanitarian values of blood donation.
