The factory declares a capacity of 20,000 cars/year, locates on an area of 7.5 hectares, and receives an investment capital of VND4,500 billion. The facility is automated in different phrases, built up to Peugeot's standards, and positioned as THACO's luxury passenger car plant.
After rolling out, Peugeot cars will go through a testing mechanism at the plant which is connected with Peugeot's Quality Control system in France.

At the ceremony, PSA (Peugeot brand owner) leaders, THACO leaders, and Vietnamese authorities implemented the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Also at the event, the duo Peugeot Traveller Premium and Peugeot Traveller Luxury was rolled out. These products not only diversify Peugeot car portfolio but also confirm THACO's capabilities in manufacturing luxury cars and meeting customized demands in line with the company's long-term strategies in terms of luxury cars.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Do Thang Hai from Ministry of Commerce and Industry expressed his praises towards the new phase in Peugeot - THACO Cooperation, which is manufacturing new-generation Peugeot products with premium paint colors and under global Peugeot standards. 
Especially, the Deputy Minister spoke highly of THACO's efforts and determination in fulfilling Vietnam Auto Industry development strategies. He also manifested his faith that the cooperation between THACO and PSA would further provide practical benefits to Vietnamese consumers and export.
