THACO launches Truck and Bus Center in Danang


The program was attended by authorities of Quang Nam Province, Danang, management of Foton, Weichai, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus corporations. On behalf of THACO, Chairman Tran Ba Duong and CEO Nguyen Hung Minh were present at the event. In addition, customers, dealership representatives, and media also had their participation in this important ceremony.


In order to maintain its leading position during the regional integration, to respond to market demands and to better serve customers in bus and truck distribution, since 2016, THACO has carried out the strategy to construct the system of THACO Truck and Bus Showcasing and Service Centers with the orientation of smart showrooms, modernly-designed service workshops which provide numerous 4.0-technology utilities at 40 Vietnamese provinces, with the investment capital up to VND6 trillion.

The THACO Truck and Bus Center was built on an area of over 26,000m2, using an investment capital of VND142 billion. The center includes 3 specialized showrooms: Bus Showroom (600m2), Fuso Showroom (720m2), Foton Showroom (720m2) and the serviced workshop (13,600m2).

The opening of the THACO Bus and Truck Center also aims to introduce to the nationwide dealerships the model of the showrooms and workshops for THACO trucks and buses, which will be developed throughout Vietnam under scientific layout and 4.0 management which preserve the environment and landscape, in order to bring THACO dealership network's investment values to the THACO Truck and Bus Center. In addition to meeting the customers' requirements in Danang, the THACO Bus and Truck Center is also a big vehicle repair hub for customers on North-South Route, and a training center for the provincial dealers from the central region.

At the ceremony, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong said: “Embracing the business philosophy of bringing values to customers, society, and economy via THACO's products, services, and activities, along with the Corporation’s sustainable development strategy, THACO is committed to serve its customers to forge ahead sustainably, and to make contributions to the Vietnamese automotive industry.”

Also at the ceremony, THACO handed over VND1 billion to Danang’s Social Welfare program, and another VND200 million to Fund for the Needy of Hoa Vang District in Danang.
