Attending the event were Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh; Ms Tran Thi Thanh Thanh, Chairman of Vietnam Association for Protection of Child's Rights, and 100 children representing 1,000 under-privileged children who receive the scholarships. THACO is the sponsor of "Shine up Your dreams" 2016.
 
With the wish that every child, whether in hardship or in disability, will have the chance to live up their dreams, Vietnam Association for Protection of Child's Rights organized the program, encouraged the sponsors to give 1,000 scholarships with the amount of 3-5 million VND each and presents to the poor children who may drop out of school in the disaster and drought areas in Mekong Delta, disabled children and children of the border defense soldiers.

At the ceremony, 100 children of the border defense soldiers in Long An, Tay Ninh, Dac Lac, and Kon Tum represented these 1,000 children to receive the scholarships from Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh. THACO acted as a sponsor in the program with the hope to provide "the chance for schooling - the chance for life changing" to the children in hardship.
