THACO joins Economic Investment Cooperation Conference between Hunan Province - China and ASEAN
At the conference, Hunan Province introduced the investment environment and provincial support policies for the ASEAN businesses having their investment here, as well as businesses based in Hunan investing in ASEAN countries; while spending time for the ambassadors and chargés d'affaires to introduce the countries' economic situation and investment calling policy for Chinese companies. During the meeting, there was the signing ceremony of 15 major projects out of 64 projects of cooperation between companies from ASEAN with Hunan based companies. Mr. Mai Phuoc Nghe - THACO Commercial Vehicle Deputy General Director and Mr. Wangtao - Forland Overseas General Director signed a THACO - Forland strategic cooperation agreement in 2016.
The conference participants also visited the representative constructions and companies in Xingsha industrial park - city of Changsha. At the Forland plant in Changsha, Forland reported to more than 700 delegates the cooperation between Forland and THACO in 12 years, highlighting the efforts and successes that the two sides have reached; while introducing more than 20 new Forland products including dump trucks, vans, and specialized vehicles. Forland and THACO also had a private meeting about the Forland car business situation in Vietnam, whereby, for the first time in 12 years of cooperation, Forland car sales have surpassed the number of 1000 vehicles/month. The two sides committed to better the product delivery, production and consumption, and to conduct a quarterly conference to timely address the business and products issues.
