THACO INDUSTRIES sponsors University of Danang's Student Sports Festival 2024

THACO INDUSTRIES acts as the main sponsor of the sports festival which lasts from April 12 to 26.

Held biennially by the University of Danang, the Student Sports Festival is a major event that fosters a strong athletics program. It promotes physical well-being among students, encourages camaraderie and connection, and identifies talented athletes to compete in regional and national competitions.

The competition boasted over 800 athletes from 9 universities and training units, vying for top honors in 7 sports: athletics, chess, badminton, table tennis, soccer, volleyball, and basketball.  This well-established tournament consistently delivers high-caliber competition. Athletes selected from past festivals have achieved impressive results at city, regional, and national tournaments, including a victory at the 2023 National Student Basketball Tournament.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Huynh Quang Nhung, THACO INDUSTRIES Sales Deputy Director said: "Proud sponsors for 18 years, THACO and Sub-holdings are committed to supporting the University's Sports Festival.
