THACO grants scholarships to students
On the 36th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day on November 20, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong sent flowers to 15 universities and secondary schools. In addition, many scholarships have been awarded to students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Mechanical Engineering Department) and Thong Nhat A High School.
On November 22nd, in Dong Nai Newspaper’s “Overcoming hardship towards brighter future”, THACO donated VND250 million to the funds to help primary and secondary school students in the province. This program has been supported by THACO since 2009 with the amount of up to more than VND2 billion.
On November 18th, the People's Committee of Phu Nhuan district organized the 2018 walkathon "For the Needy". THACO has provided VND500 million to support the poor households in the district. Since 2011, THACO has supported this walkathon with nearly VND2 billion.
In addition, THACO sponsored the Nghe An Labor Newspaper’s 5th Football Tournament in 2018.
