The anticipated 1st Ho Chi Minh City International Film Festival (HIFF 2024) kicked off on April 6 at the Ho Chi Minh City Theater, bringing together a star-studded cast of local and international names.

Attending the Opening Ceremony were Mr. Phan Van Mai, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. THACO President Pham Van Tai attended the program.
