The train car frame is made from high-strength steel and aluminum alloy, processed on modern, synchronized, and comprehensive production lines from machining, welding to surface treatment and finishing paint, ensuring international standards EN 12663-1, EN 14067-1, and EN 14067-4 for durability, safety, and aesthetics. The strategic step has opened up THACO's diversification into railway development, a vital infrastructure industry in Vietnam.
THACO also introduced the new-generation AI assistant robot TIAR-01, with modern design, multi-directional movement capability, and simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology. The TIAR-01 has smart features including giving visitors directions and assistance, information lookup, quick news updates, entertainment interaction, and environmental condition monitoring.
Additionally, the autonomous mobile robots (AMR) specializing in luggage transport also uses SLAM technology, allowing flexible movement, obstacle avoidance, and real-time route calculation, operating 6-8 hours with lithium batteries. The robot is equipped with 2D LiDAR (light detection and ranging) sensor system, bumper, 3D camera, combined with E-Stop emergency stop button, ensuring absolute safety.
