THACO exports over 1.8 million pairs of gloves in 2020's first quarter
In June 2019, THACO finished construction and started operations at Chu Lai Gloves Factory on 5,600m2. The plant was invested with USD3 million in total, having a capacity of 90 million pairs of gloves/year (in phase 1, the factory spent over USD1 million for capital. Its capacity is 30 million pairs/year).
The factory specializes in manufacturing and supplying gloves for domestic and overseas businesses.
Its main products include regular cotton gloves, rubber-covered gloves, plastic-covered gloves and polyester gloves. With great durability, good elasticity, skin protection, airiness and heat resistance, the factory's products are the choice of different businesses in mechanics, metallurgy, construction, mining, industry, and agri - forestry...
Not only supplied for Chu Lai Open Economic Zone and other large Vietnamese enterprises (VNPS Joint Stock Company, An Phu Thinh Company,...), the factory's gloves are also exported to overseas markets as ASEAN, Poland, USA, Kuwait, South Korea... The products have generally met the market demand in the current time.
It is expected that the factory's 2020 export volumes will include more than 38 million pairs of gloves of all kinds. In the coming time, Chu Lai Gloves Factory will expand its markets to Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
