The Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association held a ceremony on August 20 at the PVF Youth Football Training Center in Hung Yen province to send off the Hanoi CA Football Club and PVF-CAND Football Club to compete in the 2024-2025 National Professional Football Season. THACO is a partner of PVF-CAND Football Club.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, the Minister of Public Security, the Chairman of the Vietnam CAND Sports Association, and dignitaries from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, local authorities, and affiliated units. Mr. Vu Tien Hai, the General Director of THACO AUTO Hung Yen, represented THACO at the event.

In his address at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang expressed his aspiration for the People's Public Security Sports Association to actively collaborate with relevant units within the Ministry. This partnership aims to elevate the People's Public Security Sports to a leading position in Vietnamese sports, thereby nurturing and contributing talented athletes to the nation.

Hanoi CA Club and PVF - CAND clubs launch their jerseys for the 2024 - 2025 season

In the upcoming 2024-2025 season, PVF-CAND Football Club will participate in both the National First Division Football Tournament and the National Cup. THACO will extend its support to the club by providing transportation for training, competitions, medical care, and other essential needs of the players, reflecting its commitment to fostering sports movement within the People's Public Security Forces and laying a strong groundwork for the future development of Vietnamese football.

Also, in the event, the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association organized a ceremony to honor distinguished individuals and teams. Among the recipients were athlete Trinh Thu Vinh, the CAND Baseball Club, the T&T CAND Table Tennis Club, and the Ho Chi Minh City CAND Volleyball Club. The event also marked the launch of two new clubs: the CAND Basketball Club and the CAND Pickle ball Club.
