Joining the "Joining Hands for The Poor” program together with the Prime Minister were also leaders of the Party, State, governmental representatives, representatives of religious organizations, as well as Vietnamese and international philanthropists.

THACO Communications Director Nguyen Mot, on behalf of THACO, handed over VND5 billion to the national- and provincial-level funds for the needy: VND2 billion to Quang Nam province, another VND2 billion to Dong Nai province, and the rest VND1 billion as emergency reliefs for the national fund to support the victims in Vietnam’s northwest region seriously hit by floods. 

Also at the program, Mr. Nguyen Anh Toan, Deputy General Director of Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Corporation, a THACO member company, transferred VND5 billion to the Ho Chi Minh City Fund for the Poor.

CSR is an important task at THACO. The group has funded billions of Vietnamese dong to support the needy in provinces such as Tien Giang, Dong Nai, Vinh Long to help them in their livelihoods. Besides, the group always tries its best to support the victims of natural disasters nationwide. Last year, it allocated more than VND6 billion to the affected people in the central area to help them deal with difficulties and return to a normal life.
