Explaining the discount reason, Mr. Nguyen Mot, the Communications Director of THACO said: THACO operates according to the value chain from manufacture, transportation to distribution and retail system and orients the spare part, component, and vehicle manufacture and assembly towards joining the global value chain; we have ability to rein in costs at the proper level when bringing products to customers. The across-the-board discount is implemented according to the 11th message 2016 of THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong: improve cost price structure and cut 5 percent of the costs across the value chain in 2016. As a result, when the costs are cut, THACO applies the discount to enhance customer service value as its business philosophy.
