THACO College starts academic year 2019-2020
Attending the ceremony were authorities from Nui Thanh District of Quang Nam province, THACO leaders and nearly 500 students.
In the last school year, the college has made comprehensive innovations to become "A prestigious training center in Vietnam in automobiles and mechanics to meet THACO's human resources requirements" and "to provide training, improve the quality of human resources according to THACO's business development strategies and businesses in Central Vietnam".
From focusing on automobiles and mechanics, the college has expanded its scope of training, serving other fields such as agri - forestry, commerce - services with new faculties. The school has achieved remarkable achievements: the rate of students having jobs after graduation at over 90%, employees with higher education at 28%, and with doctorate degrees at 5%. In addition, the school has provided professional and soft skills training for more than 10,000 employees in THACO's units.
At the school-opening ceremony, THACO College was honored to receive the certificate of merit from Quang Nam People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in 2018-2019 year's emulation movement. Also at this event, the school confered the diplomas to the graduating students of course VIII, and rewarded the entering valedictorian freshmen in the year 2019 - 2020.
