THACO College carries out its 2018 – 2019 year opening ceremony
At the opening ceremony, Prof. Phan Tiem – the principal announced the school achievements during 2017-2018 and set out targets for the new school year. Accordingly, last school year was the first year in THACO College’s 2017-2020 development strategy with numerous remarkable accomplishments: enrollment targets fulfilled, nearly 200 graduted students have been employed at factories and units of the Complex.
Also, the school has won many competitions such as Excellent Teachers, Creative Science and Technology, Excellent Students. The institution has been evaluated by the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province as an excellent unit among the provincial universities and colleges.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao, director of Auto Manufacture and Assembly Factories praised the school’s achievements in the past school year, and encouraged its human resources training to stay in line with THACO's new development strategy after 2018, to expand the scope of activities and training fields to serve THACO’s multidisciplinary development strategy, to promote vocational training towards automation which is now common in the Complex’s factories during the Industrial revolution 4.0. Concurrently, the school staffs and teachers should be structured and upgraded to meet the requirements of the tasks.
At the ceremony, THACO College was honored to receive the Certificate of Merits of Quang Nam People's Committee Chairman for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movements of the school year 2017 - 2018. At the same time, the school also announced the decision of Provincial People's Committee and commended teachers and students who won the prize at the Tenth National Vocational Qualifications Examination in 2018 and the National Vocational Teacher Conference in 2018.
