THACO champions efforts to fight coronavirus

On March 30, THACO presented a German ECMO system worth VND2.3 billion to Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. ECMO (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) acts as the artificial heart and lung supporting system by providing the patients with external cardiac and respiratory support. The ECMO system would be very useful in case of need.

On the same day, THACO handed a patient monitoring system together with 6 monitors to HCM City Hospital for Tropical Diseases valued at over VND1.36 billion.
The donations to the two hospitals are worth over VND3.66 billion.

On March 17, at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi, THACO donated VND10 billion to Vietnam’s COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Fund.
Also, starting from April, the company will present “COVID-19 Prevention and Safety" gifts to all customers upon vehicle delivery. The gift set includes 2 hand sanitizer bottles and a box of 10 antiviral cloth masks.
With these community activities, THACO wishes to contribute its efforts in both maintaining the business operations and joining hands to fight off the coronavirus outbreak.
