In commemoration of International Women's Day (March 8) and the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Sisters' uprising, the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union held a special meeting program at President Ho Chi Minh Square Park. During the event, Mr. Nguyen Mot, Corporate Culture and Communication Director at THACO, presented a sponsorship of VND1.5 billion for the "The Beauty of the Crescent Moon" program for a period of five years.

This program, established as one of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union's annual initiatives coinciding with Vietnam's Disabled Persons Day (April 18). Through this 5-year collaboration between 2024 and 2028, THACO aims to empower individuals with disabilities by fostering opportunities for employment, education, and personal growth, achieving their self-sufficiency, and build fulfilling lives for themselves and their families.

In recent years, the city Women's Union has spearheaded successful women's movements, achieving remarkable and creative results at all levels. This has fostered a dynamic and positive spirit within the movement, aligned with the vision of 'Building a Cohesive, Humane, Dynamic, and Creative Women's Community in Ho Chi Minh City, Aiming for Happy Families.'

In 2024, the Union remains committed to fostering active participation from all levels of the organization, officials, and female members. This year's focus centers on leveraging information technology to empower women, unlock their potential and creativity, facilitate the communication of positive messages and the implementation of impactful actions that benefit the community.
