After advising the visiting farmers on the KAM50 tractor, THACO agricultural machine technicians - specialists moved the machines to the field to conduct pilot demonstration, provided instructions to the Institute officers on using the machine in the witness of guests and local people. 

The efficient performance, capacity and new techniques of THACO KAM50 tractors received positive feedback from the experts and attendees in the program. Many people were happy to know that the tractor is manufactured from a Vietnamese enterprise and hoped for optimum quality and efficiency from the machines based on THACO’s technical research and manufacture of tractors in line with each locality’s conditions.

THACO KAM50 is a power-driven tractor to produce traction in agri, manufactured and assembled at THACO Agricultural Machinery Factory. The manufacturing technology has been transferred from LS Mtron, the leading agricultural machinery manufacturer in South Korea. In addition to state-of-the-art technology, standard capacity (50HP), the KAM50 is well-suited to the cultivation conditions in Vietnam: high ground clearance (430mm) enables obstacle clearance and mud avoidance, well-positioned throttles for better engine longevity during operation, etc.

On February 21, 2018, THACO inaugurated its VND500 billion Agricultural Machine Factory. The facility specializes in the manufacture of all kinds of agricultural tractors with the capacity from 18 - 120HP, combine harvesters and other farming equipment. This modern factory will surely make substantial contributions to Vietnam’s agricultural development, as well as marking THACO’s turning point in investing and participating in the improvement of the key industry.
