THACO accompanies with the 20th anniversary of the province reestablishment and 42th anniversary of Quang Nam liberation
In the morning of 23 March 2017, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province organized the inauguration of the 20-year Socio-Economic Reform Exhibition held in Quang Nam province from 23-26 March at the Provincial Museum in Tam Ky City. Attending the exhibition, THACO displayed some images of technological, economic, cultural and foreign security achievements, KIA passenger cars; Mazda; Peugeot; trucks; coaches, tractors were also displayed and introduced to a large audience.
Then, in the evening of 24 March at the Square of Tam Ky City, the 20th Anniversary of the re-establishment and 42 years of Quang Nam Liberation Day, the first Independence Medal ceremony was held. The program has recreated Quang Nam from the beginning and the achievements after 20 years with the socio-economic development orientation of the province in the next 20 years. Accompanying with the program, THACO has sponsored 1,500 gold medals in commemorating 20 years of reestablishing the province. In his speech at the ceremony, the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed that: Here, Truong Hai Auto has risen to the position of the largest private enterprise in Vietnam.
Also in the series of events, on 26 March, the 2017 Investment Promotion Conference of Quang Nam province was held with the participation of central leaders, institutes, schools, leaders of the provincial government, the investors and businesses. At the meeting, Mr. Tran Ba Duong - THACO Chairman made a speech about the achievements that THACO has achieved during the investment in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone. He also affirmed and committed the investment plan of THACO in Chu Lai in the future through a strategic investment agreement with the People's Committee of Quang Nam province which was signed right at the conference. This strategic cooperation is considered as a necessary and important task of THACO in order to develop sustainably in the context of regional and global integration and to build Chu Lai into a multi-purpose mechanical center of Central Vietnam and the whole country.
