THACO accompanies the celebration of 110th anniversary of Tam Ky town chef-lieu, 10th anniversary of Tam Ky city, receipt of the 3rd-class Independence Medal and Certificate of 2nd-grade city from the Prime Minister

Participating in the event were Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh; Director of National Assembly's Financial and Budget Committee Nguyen Duc Hai; Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha; and former leaders of Quang Nam province. From the province, there were Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Director of the provincial People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Quang, Permanent Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Phan Viet Cuong, and Director of the provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thu. On behalf of the sponsors, Mr Tran Ba Duong - THACO Chairman attended the ceremony.
During the event, Tam Ky city's leaders and people reviewed the establishment and development of Tam Ky over the time. In 1907, with the reestablishment of Quang Nam province, Tam Ky town became a town chef-lieu. In September 2016, Tam Ky town was upgraded to a provincial city. After its 10 years of establishment, on 5 February 2016, the Prime Minister issued the decision which officially acknowledges Tam Ky as a second-grade city under Quang Nam province. On 9 May 2016, Tam Ky city was honorably awarded with a 3rd-class Independence Medal from the President.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc handed the 3rd-class Independence Medal from the President to Tam Ky city's people and leaders; Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha presented the Certificate of 2nd-grade city from the Prime Minister to the city representative. After the ceremony was the performance "Tam Ky - the city of the green dreams" including movie clips, songs, dancing, etc. which well-illustrated the land of heroism and aspirations.
