OVER 2,000 THACO EMPLOYEES JOIN BLOOD DONATION
On the first day of this year’s blood donation event, 165 THACO employees volunteered to give nearly 200 blood units for use in emergency cases to the HCMC Blood Donation Center.
Blood donation is among THACO’s CSR which embraces the value of service and social responsibility, including many major social programs such as building rural bridges for Mekong Delta people, granting “For a better future” scholarships to Southern Dong Nai Province, financing the “Start-up Inspiration” program co-organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth Union and VTV, among others.
Over the past 10 years, THACO has organized 12 blood donation sessions, with some 1,600 units donated each year.
In 2018, after the program was launched, more than 2,000 employees have signed up for donation, contributing approximately 1,800 blood units. The annual program will last through September.
On July 7, at Chu Lai - Quang Nam Complex with more than 9,000 employees, THACO will coordinate with Quang Nam Red Cross to organize a responding program called "2018 Red Journey" for employees there to join.
