On 11 March 2016 in Hanoi, the National Traffic Safety Committee cooperated with THACO to organize the program "Launching of the 2016 Gold Steering Wheel award in northern region and supporting vehicles to ensure traffic safety and order". Attending the program were Mr. Khuat Viet Hung - Vice Chairman in charge of the National Traffic Safety Committee and the leaders of the central government departments, transportation companies and over 30 press agencies; on behalf of THACO, President Nguyen Hung Minh and Communication Director Nguyen Mot joined the event.

Amidst the activities of Cooperation on establishment and development of quality assurance system between Vietnam and the United Kingdom program, from 16 March 2015 to 26 February 2016, General Vocational Training Department of Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs collaborated with the British Council to organize Competition "Vocational training and job opportunities in international integration" with the participation of more than 200 colleges and vocational schools in the country. Chu Lai - Truong Hai Vocational College took part in the contest with 02 products, including a picture album and a video clip reflecting the practical results in vocational training and language skills for the students from the learners’ perspective. In the end, the video clip received a third prize while the photo album received a consolidated prize.
