Mazda Japan heads visit THACO, focus on car R&D
The group was led by Mr. Nakamine, member of the BOD and Director of the Mazda Motor Corporation.
The meeting emphasized the strong strategic cooperation between THACO and Mazda Japan. Mazda Motor Corporation believed that with THACO’s existing capacity as well as proper policies of the Vietnamese Government, THACO and Mazda would maintain and develop automobile manufacturing and assembly as per set strategies. Mazda Japan highly appreciated the Vietnamese market and its partner THACO. Vietnam is also one of the first markets in Mazda Motor Corporation’s selection to launch new products such as Mazda3, Mazda6 and Mazda CX-5.
Considerably, the rapid development of Mazda Vietnam is the certain result of the comprehensive strategic cooperation relationship between THACO and Mazda, from building brand image to customer care, sales and after-sales services. Especially, the operation of THACO Mazda Plant at Chu Lai – Truong Hai Complex represents an important step in the cooperation between the two parties. Seven years since its return to Vietnam, through the cooperation with THACO, Mazda has achieved certain accomplishments. Accordingly, the Mazda brand has quickly gained a solid position in the Vietnamese automobile market.
