THILOGI executives attend Vietnam Maritime Administration’s 2024 Annual Review and 2025 Planning Conference
On December 25, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Maritime Administration held the 2024 Annual Review and 2025 Planning Conference, attended by leaders from the Ministry of Transport (MOT), the Maritime Administration, various associations, and businesses in the maritime, shipping, and logistics sectors. THILOGI President Bui Minh Truc attended and delivered a speech at the conference.
At the conference, Minister of Transport Tran Hong Minh praised the achievements of the maritime sector in 2024. He also directed the completion of institutional and policy frameworks to ensure the legal system aligns with practical needs and facilitates business operations. He encouraged the maritime private enterprises to leverage the advantages of the port system and continue making significant contributions to the development of the transport sector and the country's socio-economic growth.
In his speech, THILOGI President Bui Minh Truc highlighted the role of Chu Lai Port in Central Vietnam and the group's future plans. Over the past decade, the port has contributed to creating a vibrant and rapidly growing container transport market in the region, opening numerous opportunities for trans-Asian and international trade connections for businesses. Chu Lai Port is expected to become a central hub for container port and logistics services in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, according to Quang Nam province's 2021-2030 plan, with a vision to 2050.
