KIA Vice President visits THACO, focuses on car development plan
The guests toured the factories of car manufacture and assembly, support industries and THACO College in Chu Lai - Truong Hai Complex. Mr. Ho Sung Song had a discussion with the Complex leaders about Kia strategic vision, R&D activities as well as plans for localization and investment in upgrading 4.0 KIA production lines in production and sales activities.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the KIA Vice President also had a meeting with THACO Board of Directors on the strategy of developing Kia car business in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. In addition, the delegation visited Kia Da Nang and Kia Binh Tan showrooms and were impressed by the scale of investment and modern and professional systems of service workshops in these two showrooms.
In comments made at the end of the working visit, Mr. Ho Sung Song highly appreciated the capacity and scale of THACO's investment and reiterated Kia Motors' confidence in the product development strategies that help enhance KIA’s image in Vietnam.
