Japan’s Sumitomo Mitsui bank meets with THACO
Mr. Kazuo Yoshimura - Managing Director of Global Supply Chain Finance Department, Sumitomo Mitsui Asia Pacific region, led the visitors to meet with THACO’s Financial Department executives.


Sumitomo Mitsui is one of THACO’s major banking partners, with credit agreed, both direct and indirect, totaling up to USD100 million.
During the meeting, THACO representatives proposed some changes to the credit terms in order to improve its capital efficiency, cut capital costs, and execute proper management of Forex risks. Sumitomo executives said their side would take the proposals into consideration and to make reasonable adjustments in line with global financial situations. Also, they expressed the hope to provide THACO with more financial solutions and to strengthen the bank’s partnership with the Vietnamese automaker.
