The group was led by Mr. Woong-chul Yang - Vice Chairman and Head of Hyundai-Kia R&D Center at Hyundai Motor Company, Mr. Lee Soo Young - Chairman of Kia Asia Regional Headquarters, and his Vice Chairman Sun Hong Moo.

Receiving the guests was Mr. Bui Kim Kha - THACO Deputy General Director in charge of Car Sales.

Mr. Woong-chul Yang and his team also visited THACO’s Kia Pham Van Dong showroom and service workshop in Hanoi, getting to know more details about THACO and Vietnam’s auto market, and THACO’s 2017-2018 car R&D strategies.

Also in the session, the Hyundai R&D Chairman spent time exploring the operations at THACO's Chu Lai-Truong Hai Complex in the central province of Quang Nam, and its current product R&D activities. He highly appreciated the groups’ cooperation as well as the complex’s investment and growth. Additionally, he expressed high hopes that this strategic cooperation would reach a new height, contributing to provide outstanding products to Vietnamese customers.
