On August 21, THACO held the opening ceremony for the 2025 Sports Festival for Ho Chi Minh City offices at the Sala Urban Area football stadium. The event was attended by THACO leadership, board members, athletes and supporters.

This year's sports festival brought together 600 athletes competing in six sports: football, badminton, relay swimming, running, pickleball, and team-building games.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, THACO President Pham Van Tai said: "Over 28 years of growth and development, alongside our business operations, THACO has always focused on building corporate culture through sports activities. I hope that after these exciting matches, every one will continue to develop their potential, creativity, and be ready to overcome challenges. If you want to go fast, go alone, but to go far, we must go together. Let's play strong, win together, and cheer on."

The football teams engaged in back and forth matches, trying to leveling the score

Right after the opening ceremony, dramatic football matches began as THACO Alliance and THADICO 4 were chasing scores, ending in a 2-2 tie. The later match between THACO AUTO 1 and THISO Alliance also witnessed beautiful shots, finishing with a 1-1 draw.

Talking about the evenly matched game, Mr. Tran Trong Huu, an athlete from THACO Alliance team, said: "The whole team played with unity and determination. We will continue to play our best in the upcoming matches, and conquer the championship trophy."

The fans brought more excitement to the games  

Not only the players on the field, but the supporters also helped create an exciting atmosphere. Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh, a THADICO 4 supporter, said: "The sports festival brings joy and positive energy to everyone after stressful work hours. This is also a chance for us to interact and bond with each other more."
