THACO AGRI holds business plan conference for second half of 2023
From July 24-27, THACO AGRI’s complexes in Laos, Cambodia (Koun Mom, Snoul) and livestock subsidiaries held their business plan conferences for the second half of 2023.
The conferences pointed out the production and management plans at the complexes and subsidiaries, upholding the following key objectives: replanning planting and breeding areas, evaluating the current conditions of existing fruit trees for upgrading, building immediate construction projects to serve production and business.
At the conferences, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong said, “In agriculture, we need large-scale investments at first to be able to organize large-scale organic farming and breeding production on 84,000 hectares." He went on to emphasize the role of the 3-level management model at THACO AGRI from the Sub-holding to its complexes and factories, and to the last level - farms and production teams. "This will be the beginning of a new journey,” stressed the Chairman.
The Chairman also underlined the complementary role of other Sub-holdings in exchanging professional expertise with the agricultural corporation. Specifically, following such plan, THADICO Chu Lai is in charge of giving professional training in planning and developing projects of transportation, infrastructure, engineering, electricity, water, large-scale land-based construction projects, THILOGI taking care of logistics tasks, and THACO INDUSTRIES producing machines and equipment, etc.
