Nearly 800 employees join THACO's 25th anniversary ceremony
Nearly 800 employees from THACO and sub-holdings participated in the corporation's 25th anniversary in the evening of Dec. 10 at Thiso SkyHall Convention Center, HCMC.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Ba Duong, THACO Chairman; Mr. Nguyen Hung Minh – Standing THACO Vice Chairman; Ms. Vien Dieu Hoa – Member of THACO Board of Directors; Mr. Pham Van Tai - THACO President; Leaders of member corporations and the participation of nearly 800 employees.
In 2022, THACO marks the 25-year milestone of establishment and development (1997 - 2022) to enter a new development phase with the vision of "Becoming a leading multi-industry corporation in ASEAN which develops sustainably in the context of regional and global integration”. Its achievements have been reached thanks to the persistent efforts of all leaders and employees. THACO has become a multi-industry corporation with 6 sub-holdings which operates in Automobile, Agri, Mechanics and Supporting Industries, Construction and Investment, Commerce and Service, and Logistics, gradually asserting its position in the ASEAN region.
On this occasion, THACO honored 57 representative employees who have been working at THACO and sub-holdings during the past time. These are pioneering leaders, core and successive personnel to carry out the mission of sustainable development.
Speaking at the celebration, Mr. Tran Ba Duong, THACO Chairman shared, "In 2022, THACO turns 25 years old, we have become a multi-industry corporation. Looking back on the past journey, we have always aspired and strived to be able to thrive and develop. Such development always goes hand in hand with the national economy. What tag along are challenges which have created a stronger and more capable work force to fulfill the set goals. In the past 25 years, what I cherish the most in THACO's development is our people whose growth accompanies together with the Group."
He also emphasized: “From now on, we must put more efforts in upgrading governance and human resources to bring THACO to a new level. And with this greater responsibility, it requires our strong will, virtues, professionalism and management capabilities, and also our passion in work. From there, each one will be more confident to make practical contributions and create real values, set role models and develop the leadership to build well-rounded corporate culture which reflects the characteristics and good virtues of THACO work force. 2023 is coming, I hope we will have breakthroughs and changes to stay in line with the set strategy and business model.”
At the celebration, THACO awarded the winners of THACO Stories writing contest, "THACO - Love and Aspiration" singing contest and THACO Cup 2022 for men's football teams.
