Energy management training for THACO AUTO Chu Lai staff
To improve the efficient energy use and management at the company, THACO AUTO Chu Lai on June 8 organized a training course on applying energy management processes for 20 managers and engineers from painting workshops, QC, technical, equipment maintenance and management, etc. of companies and units.
The course provided knowledge about ISO 50001 Energy Management System Standards, foundations and purpose of the energy management process, actual energy use at the automotive manufacturing factories and units. At the same time, learners were guided to apply the processes in their actual production activities, including identifying energy sources used in units, especially energy consuming devices, establishing benchmarks on energy use, energy efficiency index, setting goals, monitoring energy use and management.
After the course, students now could identify the main energy-consuming devices, areas and factors affecting the Energy Management System in their units, thereby building energy efficiency indexes accordingly for evaluation, and then proposing improvement plans on energy use and management to meet the ISO 50001 standards, contribute to saving costs and improving production and business efficiency.
