Conference on implementation of the 6-last-month plan at the Complex
For manufacturing plants, the main task in the second half of the year will be focusing on R & D activities - take initiative and step by step master the design in R & D activities to improve the technological contents, gradually increase the localization rate of high-volume trucks and export-oriented trucks, promote joint ventures, fully develop the next-generation product line-up with modern technology, promote the export of spare parts and components to ASEAN countries and join the global value chain.
Regarding the Logistics Division, during the second half of the year, the division will develop the trucking service to meet THACO's logistics demands, expand the service market, cooperate with domestic and foreign partners to develop shipping business, open container shipping routes from Japan, South Korea, China, ASEAN countries to Chu Lai Port and vice versa. Additionally, Chu Lai Port will be developed according to the functional sub-zones, which focus on the expansion of domestic containerized cargo, imported-exported goods, the completion of the warehousing system towards a goods distribution and circulation center.
Next week, the remaining units and management office block will continue to hold the task conference in the last 6 months of 2017.
