The meeting summed up the Trade Union work in 1st quarter of Emulation division No.5; discussed the point scale, finalized emulation contents; signed the 2017 emulation testimony with units in the division. Accordingly, the meeting established the bases for grading and emulation in division No.5, at the same time responded to the emulation movement among workers, officials, and laborers in 2017 and 2017-2020.

Speaking at the conference, Mr Doan Van Day suggested that in 2017, the Trade Unions continued to promote their national emulation movements; discover and develop the elite members; each Trade Unionist need to make efforts in becoming the core element of the national emulation movement; developing the roles of the Trade Union in helping the Party and Government to understand laborers' needs and aspirations, being the bridge between laborers and business owners.
