Closing conference 2015 at Chu Lai – Truong Hai Complex
The conference was reported of the company’s and the complex’s activities in 2015 and their plan in 2016. Accordingly, in 2015, the complex manufactured and assembled more than 73,000 vehicles, up 86 percent compared to 2014; upgraded and developed 15 new products; contributed 12,700 billion dong to the state budget; 10,095 billion dong of which was paid to Quang Nam’s budget, up 102 percent compared to 2014.
In 2016, the complex sets its target of manufacturing and assembling 99,800 vehicles, up 36 percent compared to 2015; investing and comprehensively innovating factories and units at the complex according to THACO’s strategic orientation that is to become the national auto and multi-purpose machinery industrial park and one of the leading auto manufacture centers in the ASEAN region in 2018; investing in Tam Hiep Urban Zone to meet the demand of developing the social infrastructure and contribute to improve employees’ living quality and the local social security. According to its plan, the complex is expected to contribute 14,000 billion dong to the state budget, 12,280 billion dong of which will be paid to Quang Nam’s provincial budget, up 22 percent compared to 2015.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vu Ngoc Hoang, Vice Director of the Department of Propaganda and Training express his special impression to the growth rate of THACO and the complex. According to him, this was a magical development and he believed to witness THACO’s breakthrough in the future to enhance the level of the Vietnam automobile industry in the region.
At the meeting, THACO leaders honored and rewarded 14 teams and individuals that had great performance in 2015.
