The contest aimed to arouse the creativity of the staff-teachers in vocational training activities through training equipment, encouragethe self-made teaching equipment movements, contribute to the principle of "Learning with practice, theory with practical reality, and the schools with the enterprises." Joining the contest were 14 units (including 9 vocational colleges and 5 vocational centers locally) with 49 devices. Chu Lai - Truong Hai Vocational College participated in the contest with 7 devices. At the end: The school won the first prize with 5 winning devices, including 1 first prize: Mainbuck semiautomatic welding model; Two second prizes: KIA-Sorento car's automatic transmission model, hydraulic power steering system model simulated by Labview software; 1 third prize: automatic acid pouring system into battery model; 1 consolation prize: semi-automatic floor welding model. All these 5 models were chosen by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for the national contest in September 2016.

Also in the framework of the contest, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs held a seminar on "Mechanisms to support vocational training linked to employment" in order to assess the activities, offering supporting solutions for vocational training and employment in schools and businesses. Chu Lai - Truong Hai Vocation College joins the discussion "Model of vocational training in enterprises", introducing the model of training linked to employment for students in the Complex, contributing to the policy of socialization of vocational training and employment, and contributing to stabilize the social welfare.
