Chu Lai - Truong Hai Vocational College organizes its school year opening ceremony 2016-2017
In 2015-2016, the college admitted and trained 1,531 students at 3 levels: College, Technicians and Workers; graduated 1,220 students who were all recruited at the plants and units of the Complex; held the soft skill training for over 3,000 employees and trained product knowledge for THACO showrooms nationwide. In addition, the school also took part in the competitions: good professionalism; self-made teaching devices etc. and achieved high results. Accordingly, there was an all-competition first prize in Quang Nam self-made teaching devices Competition, with 5/5 participating devices winning prizes in the national self-made teaching devices Competition, including 1 first prize.
Speaking at the event, Mr Huynh Tan Trieu - Director of Quang Nam Department of Labors, Invalids, and Social Affairs highly appreciated the school's achievements, and asked it to continue trying to meet the requirements of integration, comprehensive innovation of curriculum and teaching methods as per the party's Resolution No.29/NQ/TU; teaching and learning in the direction of encouraging the activeness and centeredness of students; improving skills and the sense of responsibility, industrial attitudes, creating good human resource to suit special demands in each business line, not only meeting THACO's development but also building the human resource for the province and the central area.
During the ceremony, the school also handed the Certificates of Merit from Quang Nam People’s Committee to excellent teachers and students in competitions; praised the students having high achievements in learning and movements.
In this school year, the school admits 857 students. Also in 2017, the school will establish 2 recruiting-training branches to provide personnel for THACO showrooms and agents and outside companies.
