After receiving feedback from the customers regarding the fact that the actual weight of the THACO Auman trucks C2400A/P230-MB1 exceeds its weight according to the approved Quality Certification profile from 850kg to 1,035kg, Chu Lai - Truong Hai Automobile Manufacture & Assembly Company Limited - the producer of such trucks has worked with Vietnam Registry Department and found out the main cause of the truck weight increase as follows: According to the Certificate of Technical Safety Quality and Environmental Protection for Automobile Assembly and Production No. 029/VAQ09-01/15-00 issued by Vietnam Registry Department on 16 January 2015, it has been identified that: THACO Auman C2400A / P230-MB1 truck's weight is 8,625kg. As it has been fitted and changed in some of the details on the truck, including: (1) Installation of additional roof spoiler on the roof of the cabin; (2) Installation of additional hydraulic damping tubes and enhanced horizontal bar at the 3rd axe; (3) Change the fuel tank with a capacity of 200 liters to 400 liters; (4) Change the structure and the materials of the container details (such as vertical beams’ height lifting, using materials with better thickness, mechanical properties, etc.). All these changes increase stability and do not affect the safety and dynamics of the vehicle, but increase the vehicle's weight to around 9,500 kg. The changes have not been timely notified by the company to Vietnam Registry Department to execute the additional profile.

To ensure the consumers’ rights and to comply with the functions of the manufacturer, Chu Lai - Truong Hai Automobile Manufacture & Assembly Company Limited has issued a written report to Vietnam Registry Department which then allowed the company to implement the retrieval of THACO Auman C2400A/P230-MB1 trucks to inspect, repair and fix all the above errors according to the approved profile.
Therefore, Chu Lai - Truong Hai Automobile Manufacture & Assembly Company Limited is pleased to announce to the customers the following truck retrieval program:

Program: Inspect, repair and fix the truck's weight extension compared to the weight recorded in the Quality Certification of THACO Auman C2400A/P230-MB1 trucks.
Program details:

(1): Check and uninstall the roof spoiler (if any) on the roof of the cabin
(2): Check and uninstall 02 hydraulic damping tubes and 40mm enhanced horizontal bar at the 3rd axe (if any)
(3): Check and replace fuel tanks according to the registration profile with the capacity of 200 liters, instead of the current capacity of 400 liters (if any)
(4): Check and fix the differences in structure and materials of the container details that are not in line with the approved Quality Certificate profile.

Upon the end of the truck retrieval program, the Company will notify Vietnam Registry Department of the implementation in writing. In the case that the number of fixed vehicles is low upon the end of the program, the company will send documents to Vietnam Registry Department in order to continue the retrieval program and the vehicles after the ending date will continue to be repaired for free.

The company will check, review, and supplement to the profile the innovations and changes (if any) for all vehicles manufactured from 15 April 2016 to send to Vietnam Registry Department. The company will also issue information exchanging procedures between the manufacturing departments and registry profile department to strictly supervise the changes as per the customer's requirements. For the custom reinforced products whose design has been changed, the Company will not hold responsibility for such. 

Chu Lai - Truong Hai Automobile Manufacture & Assembly Company Limited will notify each customer using the vehicles under the truck retrieval program to implement the vehicle checking and fixing according to the published procedures and time.
