Deputy Minister Le Dinh Tho made a speech at the award ceremony "Golden Steering Wheel"

At the ceremony, there were 26 enterprises and 59 drivers with outstanding achievements in ensuring traffic safety for road transport receiving the "Golden Steering Wheel" awards. The ceremony was to honor the efforts of the transport enterprises and drivers who have their contributions to the peace on the streets.

Launching the award "Golden Steering Wheel" in 2017, Deputy Minister of Traffic and Transport Le Dinh Tho asserted, "Golden Steering Wheel" is the first award that recognizes and honors the drivers, transport enterprises and cooperatives having contributions in traffic safety. The ones honored today are the flowers in the nice forest in the work of ensuring traffic safety and order. Deputy Minister Tho hopes the businesses and drivers in the country actively involved in responding to the movement to partly improve the quality of transport services and to ensure traffic safety, reduce vehicle accidents to the lowest and there will be more groups and individuals receiving the award "Golden Steering Wheel" to further minimize traffic accidents.

Mr Nguyen The Luong, a driver of Anh Duong Vietnam JSC, is the best driver in the company for 3 years. Since 2013, he always receive the award "Golden Steering Wheel" of the National Traffic Safety Committee

On the streets, I think we need to make concessions, to estimate the roads, master speed, not drink alcohol during driving"- shared Mr Nguyen Huu Chau, a driver from Son La 1 Coach Joint-stock Company won the special award "Golden Steering Wheel" this year.

Mr Chau in 2016 had over 50,000 km of safety, no serious traffic accidents, support for colleague during incidents, and helped the elderly and children on the bus. He also won the Gold Steering Wheel award in 3 consecutive years from the National Traffic Safety Committee

So gradually, I got used to change the tires myself" - Ms Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thach, a driver of Anh Duong Vietnam JSC said. Since 2012, she drove without any traffic accidents, became the top 10 best drivers of the Company from 2013 to 2015. And she is the best driver of the Company in 2016
