5 teaching devices of Chu Lai - Truong Hai Vocational College win prizes in the National Self-made Teaching Devices Contest 2016
The national self-made teaching devices contest is held by the Vocational General Department every 3 years to promote the innovation of the teaching staff in self-making their teaching devices and to contribute to increase the training quality under the principle "Theories come with practice, schools come with enterprises." The contest attracted the participation of 161 vocational units from 50 provinces and cities with nearly 350 participating models. Chu Lai - Truong Hai Vocational College participated with 5 devices which all won prizes. Accordingly, Semi-automatic welding Mainbuck model of teachers Nguyen Cong Thuc and Nguyen Chu Tan won the first prize; 2 third prizes belonged to Kia - Sorento's automatic transmission engine and automatic acid pouring system into batteries models; 2 Consolation prizes went to the computer-connected hydraulic Wheel Drive System and automatic welding model controlled by PLC S7-1200.
This is the second time the vocational college took part in the national self-made teaching devices contest. At the first contest - 2013, the school had 2 winning devices. At Quang Nam contest in 2016, the school also won the first prize with 5 winning devices, including 1 first prize and 2 second prizes.
