40 auto reporters join Mazda CX-5 test drive
In the event, the delegation witnessed Mazda’s most modern facility in Southeast Asia. The visitors were amazed at the scale and technology at the Thaco Mazda plant, particularly the robots used for the Wet on Wet paint line (primer and finish paint do not go through normal drying) which meet the strict requirements of high-grade paint surface. In addition, the reporters highly appreciated the fact that Thaco Mazda plant’s quality testing process is directly connected with Mazda Japan plants to ensure the product quality before launching.
After the factory tour, the guests had the opportunity to experience CUV Mazda CX-5’s latest technologies on the factory’s technically-qualified 2.4-kilometre track with abundant real-life road conditions. Driving the car on circuits, rocky roads, rough roads, wavy roads, and slippery roads …, the reporters were able to fully test this CUV’s special features. After the test drive, the reporters expressed their appreciation towards the whole-new Mazda CX-5 in terms of outstanding and strong SkyActiv engine performance and Gravity Vectoring Control (GVC) technology providing increased stability, comfort and safety for users.
