11 months in 2016, THACO has the sales of over 100 thousand vehicles
Passenger cars reached 6,163 vehicles, up 21% over the same period in 2015, total sales of passenger cars in 11 months reached 58,380 vehicles, up 59% over the same period last year. In particular, KIA vehicles have the highest sales with 3,458 vehicles, 32% higher than the same period last year. This is the 6th consecutive month in 2016 that KIA achieves the sales of over 3,000 cars / month. With 1,802 vehicles sold to customers, KIA Morning continues to be the most popular model of this brand. Following Morning is the Cerato with 763 cars, this is the C-class sedan launched in the year and quickly demonstrated its attractiveness. In the first 11 months of 2016, KIA achieved 29,456 vehicles, up 59% over the same period in 2015.
Mazda cars were customers' first choice in segment C when the car sales reached 2,653 cars, bringing the total sales in 11 months to 28,351 vehicles, an increase of 61% over the same period last year. Mazda3 surpassed other competitors in the segment to maintain its leading position with 1,186 cars sold. Mazda CX-5 continues to hold the crown in the segment 5-seat CUV when there were 745 cars sold. Cumulatively in 11 months, the CX-5 sold 7,771 vehicles, up 89% year on year. Mazda3 and Mazda CX-5 are also the two car models in the top 10 VAMA best-selling cars in November at the 5th and 9th positions respectively.
Sales of French car brand Peugeot in Vietnam in November to 52 vehicles, 11 months reached 573 vehicles with the contributions of three key models are 208, 508 and 3008, an increase of 26% over the same period in 2015 .
Commercial vehicles sales reached 3,838 vehicles, up 9% over the same period, including 3,532 trucks (up 6%) and 306 buses (up 68% over the same period last year). Total sales in 11 months reached 44,120 commercial vehicles, growing 28%. With the products constantly being improved to meet the transportation needs of enterprises, and promotion policies bringing practical values, THACO commercial vehicles continue to be the choice for many customers in their investments.
Thus, in November 11, 2016, THACO achieved the record sales of over 100,000 vehicles, continued to hold No. 1 on the automobile market in Vietnam.
