THILOGI provides full-package logistics solutions for exported durians
On October 1st, over 10 containers of durians from Daklak were shipped through Chu Lai port on a SITC vessel. THILOGI managed the entire logistics process, covering road transport, port services, warehousing, food quarantine, and sea transport, ensuring cost efficiency.
The Central Highlands, with 51,400 hectares of durian plantations yielding 336,400 tons, is the largest durian-growing region in Vietnam. The peak harvest season from September to October offers the highest yields. To support businesses and enhance the export value of Vietnamese durians, THILOGI is enhancing its comprehensive logistics and multimodal transport services, addressing transportation challenges from origin to destination.
To cater to the storage and preservation needs of fresh fruit before export, THILOGI has established a cold storage facility at Chu Lai port, spanning over 12,500 square meters and accommodating 1,000 refrigerated containers. With a fleet of specialized refrigerated containers (40, 45 feet) and over 200 dedicated tractors for agricultural transport, THILOGI links agricultural products from the Central Highlands, Southern Laos, and Northern Cambodia to Chu Lai port for export, ensuring products are stored at appropriate temperatures.
The completion and operation of berth No. 2, extending 365 meters and equipped with high-capacity specialized cranes, along with strengthened partnerships with international shipping lines (SITC, CMA CGM, ZIM, RCL...), have boosted Chu Lai port's capacity for receiving, loading, unloading, and releasing ships, optimizing the time for agricultural products to reach global markets.
Chu Lai port exports over 500 containers of fresh fruit (bananas, durians, etc.) monthly, providing partners and customers with time-saving solutions and service fees 10-30% lower than other regional ports.
