THACO boosts recruitment activities
Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UTH) hosted its "Job Fair & Business Connection Day 2024" on June 22. The event attracted nearly 30 businesses offering over 3,000 job openings.
THACO actively participated in the program, aiming to connect with UTH students and create career opportunities in their areas of expertise. These included fields like automobiles, mechanics, automation, import-export, logistics, information technology, and even research and product development.
Joining the program, Mr. Huynh Huu Loc, THISO's HR Director said: "THACO has been long hiring UTH graduates. Over the years, we have welcomed 390 alumni, with 165 new hires just since 2022. Many UTH graduates now hold important and key positions within THACO and Sub-holdings."
The THACO booth offered students a chance to explore career opportunities and gain valuable insights into the company's recruitment process, helping them tailor their development to align with future career goals.
Cao Thi Bao Tran, a first-year student majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at UTH said: "THACO's diverse industries are truly impressive, particularly THILOGI. The company's professional work environment and strong employee benefits programs really align with my career orientation. Upon graduation, I plan to apply to THACO, confident that I can contribute my knowledge and skills."
Beyond learning about career opportunities, candidates could network, apply, and even interview if qualified. "THACO offers UTH students good internship and employment opportunities. These experiences will expose students to cutting-edge technologies and provide hands-on training to solidify their expertise and skills, and prepare them for the demands of the real world," Mr. Huynh Huu Loc added.
THACO and Sub-holdings have had a strong presence at university career fairs. In 2024, its participation at events like Danang University of Science and Technology and the University of Finance and Accounting helped the company build relationships with universities, attract top talent, and fulfill the recruitment needs for nearly 15,000 positions.
