THACO improves occupational safety and health knowledge for employees
THACO partnered with THACO College to deliver an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) training course for 73 employees from June 19 to 25. The program targeted employees from THACO's Headquarters and Sadora Office in Ho Chi Minh City, including those from THACO INDUSTRIES, THADICO, and THISO.
This is a regular training course implemented by THACO College for THACO and Sub-holdings. Its content is tailored to various employee groups, including OSH managers, employees in high-risk roles working with strict OSH requirements, general employees and medical personnel.
Led by occupational safety experts, Master Nguyen Xuan Khai and Master Nguyen Hung of THACO College, the training covered legal framework and regulations on OSH, foundational OSH knowledge, practical OSH operations, specialized content relevant to specific roles, and workplace-specific safety procedures. During the session, learners also shared how to identify and evaluate potential OSH risks, and provided solutions for problems.
Ms. Phan Thi Minh Phuong from THACO INDUSTRIES Sales Department said: "The training is really useful to me. I truly appreciate the importance of safety practices now. I'm confident with the knowledge and skills I gained to prevent accidents and keep myself and everyone around me safe."
Like Ms. Phuong, Mr. Truong Viet Cuong from THACO Administration Department shared: "The training provided me with a deep understanding of OSH regulations, standards, and technical guidelines. With this knowledge, I'm actively involved in reviewing and evaluating workplaces and warehouses to identify and eliminate potential hazards."
Working in the service industry, in addition to quality assurance, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tu from Thiskyhall Service Supervision Department always focuses on OSH. He said: “To ensure safe events, I inspect the electrical system, fire suppression system, kitchen equipment, and party service equipment before each event. Additionally, I maintain close look throughout the food processing and serving process."
Ms. Truong Thi Nga from Catering Department at Sadora Office told us: "Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen is a core part of my role. I ensure all cooking equipment, utensils, and cleaning supplies are arranged and used properly. The training empowered me with safe and hygienic work practices. I can now confidently perform regular equipment inspections and manage waste disposal according to regulations."
THACO College will collaborate with companies and units to develop new OSH courses that address real-world needs, enhance working quality, foster a safe and productive work environment throughout THACO.
The OSH training courses were previously offered to employees working at auto showrooms and various companies and units located in THACO Chu Lai.
